People 'never flying Ryanair again' after two-word social media post – Bristol Live

Ryanair has come under fire for its latest social media post, despite it only consisting of two words. The no-frills airline is known for its comical output on platforms such as X, formerly Twitter, and its most recent update is no different.
Ahead of last night's Champions League semi-final match against Paris St Germain, a post was shared from the official Arsenal X account. It simply read: "Make It Happen". However, after Arsenal lost out on Wednesday night, Ryanair's social media team saw the opportunity to poke fun at the team's misfortune.
Resharing the post, Ryanair simply said: "Or not", and X users have given mixed responses. One wrote: "Too far, not funny" and another added: "This one wasn’t even funny. Or relevant to Ryanair? It was just trolling.."
However one person joked: "The Ryanair social media manager has to be a Tottenham fan" and another said: "Ryanair marketing team needs a raise". Some who didn't find the post funny also said they would boycott the airline in future.
Arsenal’s bid to win the Champions League for the first time ended following their 2-1 defeat at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.
The Gunners were already trailing by a goal in the semi-final, and despite forcing goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma into two fine saves inside the first 15 minutes, they fell further behind when Fabian Ruiz opened the scoring after 27 minutes.
