Nigeria Police to Graduate 10,000 New Constables, IGP Confident in Enhanced Policing

The Nigeria Police Force is excited to announce the graduation of 10,000 recruit constables from various training institutions nationwide. This milestone highlights the Force’s dedication to bolstering its personnel and enhancing its capacity to provide effective policing services to the Nigerian populace.

 

The graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at four different Police Colleges and twelve Training Schools. The event will be presided over by the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, who will serve as the reviewing officer.

 

These newly trained constables have undergone extensive physical and mental training, equipping them to handle the complex security challenges facing the nation while adhering to legal principles.

 

Inspector-General Egbetokun has expressed his confidence that these new officers will exhibit professionalism, integrity, and dedication to their duties, thereby upholding the prestige of the Police Force.

 

The addition of these constables is expected to improve community engagement, crime response, and overall public safety.

 

Following their graduation, the constables will be deployed to various state commands, contributing to local policing efforts and community safety initiatives.

 

This influx of new personnel is anticipated to strengthen existing police units and foster better relationships between the police and the communities they serve.
